Some images from Africa!

We're back and we're changed people. It's going to be very hard to communicate the feelings we experienced while there. As they say, you had to be there... Well, short of that, here are just a few images from the experience. FYI, I used Lightroom 2.0 beta and processed them entirely without Photoshop to save time. Normally I would work every image in Photoshop, but LR can do some pretty cool things now. I used one of the built in web galleries to create the presentation. There are icons for a full screen slide show too if you wish. Here's the link to the show: Rwanda 2008

Thank you for sharing what looks like a life changing experience. I am so jealous right now, this is one of my dreams. Your images are hauntingly beautiful and will hopefully help make a difference. If you do this again, can I come? If not how can I help?

Answered my own question by reading further, I just donated and urge others to do the same!

Absolutely beautiful and moving. We take so much for granted.

Thanks for sharing such an inspirational story & for encouraging all of us here to help do more. I'm with Sandy in wanting to go the next time you make a trip. Or otherwise, find out the details of your trip so I can organize one for some local people here I know who would love to do something like this.
